Published by the United Breweries Group, the 'infamous' Kingfisher Calendar probably needs no introduction! Arguably the hottest thing every year, the calendar has been portraying scintillating models year after year since 2003. While we at TripHobo can't stop admiring the beautiful ladies and the way celebrated photographer Atul Kasbekar captures their alluring moods, we also can't stop ogling at the locations used as a backdrop for these photographs. Here's a rundown on the locations used for the Kingfisher Calendar shoots since the year 2005 till 2015:

Kingfisher Calendar 2005- South Africa:

South Africa's scenic wonders are legendary. The 'Rainbow Nation' has it all- from lush green mountains and forests to naked deserts and stunning costal vistas to a happening nightlife and the unofficial designation of being the adventure capital of the world! It is the perfect combination of culture, heritage, adventure and nature.

Kingfisher Calendar 2006- Australia:

A unique and diverse country in every way possible, Australia generally features on the wanderlust wishlist of many. The reasons for visiting the Land Down Under are aplenty- pristine beaches, adventurous scuba diving sessions, delectable cuisine, vibrant nightlife, exploratory outback journeys and discovering the culture of the aboriginals. Kingfisher Calendar 2007- French Riviera:

Also known as Cote d'Azur, the French Riviera is home to some of the most beautiful shorelines in the world. Once upon a time, the area was made up of sleepy fishing villages. Tourism has completely changed the region now.

Kingfisher Calendar 2008- Across India:

The gorgeous locations of Goa, Ladakh, Udaipur and Andaman played host to the Kingfisher Calendar girls in the year 2008. While Goa is known for its nightlife and its vivacious beaches, Andaman is known for its history linking back to the freedom struggle along with its tranquil coastlines. Ladakh, with its intimidating landscapes gives tough competition to the luxurious and royal skylines of Udaipur.

Kingfisher Calendar 2009- Islands on the Andaman Sea:

A part of the Indian Ocean, the Andaman Sea is a waterbody located towards the southeast of the Bay of Bengal. Having an area of 308,000 square miles, the sea takes its name from the Andaman Islands.

Best time to visit: Between February to April.

Kingfisher Calendar 2011- Mauritius:
